Friends of the Earth International just launched a new video on the impacts of World Bank funded land grabbing in Uganda.
The protagonist is John Muyisa from Kalangala, Uganda. John woke up one day to find bulldozers clearing his land to plant oil palms. John and his community have preserved their forests and lands for generations. He hadn't an education, because, here, when you have land, you have a future. Not now.
